Özge Yücel Dericiler completed her undergraduate studies at Ankara University, Faculty of Law and received her MA in Political Science and PhD in Public Law from the same university. After completing her legal internship at the Ankara Bar Association, she started working as a research assistant at the department of Public Law at Gazi University, Faculty of Law in 2000. She carried out part of her doctoral research as a Swedish Institute scholar at the Raoul Wallenberg Institute of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law at Lund University. Since 2014 Özge Yücel Dericiler has been working at Özyeğin University, Faculty of Law. Her research particularly focuses on economic and social rights, business and human rights and gender and law. In 2023 she was unanimously awarded the title of associate professor by the Presidency of the Inter-universities Council. She is a member of the Board of Trustees of Kuçuradi Foundation for Philosophy and Human Rights and a member of the Bioethics Monitoring Group of the UNESCO National Commission for Turkey.
