Dr Ömer Karadağ obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Karadeniz Technical University in 2015, his Master of Science degree in Earthquake and Structural Engineering from Gebze Technical University in 2018, and his Doctor of Philosophy degree in Civil Engineering from Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa in 2025. His areas of specialty are concrete technology, the design of earthquake-resistant reinforced concrete structures, and sustainable cementitious composites. He has studies published in esteemed journals on structural systems education in architecture department. He currently teaches courses related to structural engineering at the Faculty of Architecture and Design.
