Dr. Kerman completed his secondary and high school education at “Le Lycée Tevfik Fikret d’Ankara” and graduated from Çankaya University Faculty of Law in 2008. He obtained her “Master II” in 2010 Private Law from the University of Nice- Sophia Antipolis , France with his dissertation titled “La lex mercatoria origines et évolutions” under the direction of Prof. Jean- François Brégi.
He commenced his doctoral studies at Geneva University in 2012 and received his “Docteur en Droit” in 2017 with his dissertation titled “Contrat de sous-traitance du point de vue du droit turc et suisse” under the direction of Prof. Sylvain Marchand. During his doctorate, he did his thesis research in the ISDC Swiss Institute of Comparative Law, Lausanne and Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law, Hamburg.
He worked as a faculty member at İstanbul Aydin University, Faculty of Law between 2014 and 2023, Department of Civil Law. He served as the Deputy Dean and he did many administrative duties.  Dr. Kerman’s work focuses on civil law and comparative law. He is fluent in French, intermediate in English and basic in German.
